The late author of the Man Booker Prize-winning 'Wolf Hall' talks about her main character Cromwell.

This interview for 4th Estate Books in 2012 was filmed at Cadhay House in Devon, where our event was also held last summer.

Mantel tells us that the reign of Henry VIII has been recounted countless times in history books and popular culture. Yet, each telling often centers on Henry himself, his six wives, or the dramatic shifts in England’s political and religious landscapes.
