Revisiting The Booker Prize winner's haven in Devon, UK.

At Mantel’s home, her writing desk faced a large window overlooking the sea, which is just across the road. The view from her desk was almost immersive, with the shingle beach just a step away and no human activity in sight, only waves and clouds. Mantel had a photograph of this view on her computer desktop to remind her to look up from her screen occasionally.
